And one more month to go (in school terms, a few weeks left) before summer. OJT, a few days in Leyte and then jetting off to another European adventure.
As per usual, there are so many things to be done. I'm not halfway through. My goal for today is to make a dent in my to-do list. I'm cutting class for this. This is a legitimate purpose!
I'll stop now.

NEO-CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
I hate myself this week. Where the hell is my school spirit? >_<
Monday - No classes. Slumming slumming forever. Or.. Wait, I forgot what happened.
Tuesday - Driving lessons I think? Then straight to the condo right after.
Wednesday - Omg. Velada Tomasina. Wow, I fell in love with UST for the second time in a long time. What did I wear? School uniform and a beret. Oh, I forgot the numerous shoots I had to take care of for TOMCAT.
Thursday - Shoot for the Feria. After, driving lessons.
Friday - Cheermania, which I wasn't able to attend because I was busying compiling video mats and such. FIREWORKS God damn it, which I heard were incredibly awesome. Again, no-show. Fck my period. ARGH.
Saturday. No rest. I'll finish my Weekend List and continue to loath myself for my numerous event absences. And I think I wasn't able to get everything right because I don't remember all the details of my douche-y week.
I have to make up for the school spirit I lost :( Why am always busy/cramming/stressed. I'm not suicidal, I'm just perpetually lazy :( With a lot of orgs. What a crappy combination.
I'm sorry, my beloved university. I hope you still love me as much as I love you. <3

Dante's Inferno
When the police arrived at the scene, they asked him: 'Do you know what you've done?'
'Yes,' Chapman replied evenly. 'I just shot John Lennon.'
We have been given an assignment in my Literature class to write about Dante's Inferno. My professor's instructions were to choose a circle in hell and explain its relevance in contemporary times. We have to cite examples in modern setting and choose a person to write about.
I chose Mark David Chapman, John Lennon's Assassin.
Personally, I find this assignment interesting. Not only are we condemning people to hell (not saying we have the right to!) but we're being graded for it, too. Honestly, do I sound mad? Hmmm. All the best people are.
Hell week has passed. I'm thankful that I was able to survive. Not that exams can kill you physically, of course. But the mental and physical drain... Oh, exhaustion. Hopefully, the fruits of my labor will be sweet. This week, I don't think we have anything lined up that requires grinding study hours. But we do have a lot in store that requires strategizing, planning and meeting up with teammates about. Org and acad-wise.
I have to finish 2 papers (or at least finish something worthwhile) this morning because I have plans in the afternoon. Nyehehehihizm. In other news, Tuesday is going to be awesome. Driving lessons in the morning, meetings in the afternoon and finally, after weeks of waiting, MAMMA MIA @ the CCP theater later in the evening!
YES. Life is good.
For now I must face the madness that is Monday.

Uncertainty
I have spent about 3 days reading, being unable to absorb anything. My perpetually sleepy mind can only take so much. I'm not yet done studying for an exam at 3PM later today. Oh well.
That feeling when you're not entirely sure about something. You only know enough that you want to go for it anyway. Falling at 9.8m/s^2 but I'm still clinging on to the latch of my parachute. Should I let my inhibitions go and just keep falling or be cautious and blow up the parachute once something's amiss?
I have no idea.
I have no idea what I'm getting myself into. But being the adventure junkie that I am, I threw caution to the wind and made the plunge anyway. Driving in the dark with my headlights on, unaware of what lies ahead after the 20-meter distance laid out before me.
For now, I am not certain about anything except the fact that this seems like worth a try. But I'm still holding on to my parachute because I don't want to fall all the way down and break my skull.
