MyUSTe Student Portal Not Cool :(

It's so peachy how the router at home chooses to malfunction during grade viewing season. Damn it! After my dental appointment, went to iBox where my sister was staying. I had to take this opportunity to go online and see my grades! Much to my dismay and expectation, I could not log into my student account. I think I should wait patiently instead and view my grades tomorrow.

Today, will go to SM with sister. Shopping, I think. She needs her summer stuff and I need those high-cut sneakers from Reva. They look awesome, plus very pocket-friendly at P500. That's not all.. SALE. Need I say more?

Maybe YOU have more luck than I do? Try your luck.

When the internet connection at home is fixed, I must remember to e-mail my resume, upload pictures from Jobs' debut and post that text about the Lumix DMC LX5. I save all my pending posts in my handy-dandy USB.

Back to reality. Where were we? Oh yeah. GRADES. I raise my middle finger to the

Internal Server Error. :D

Congrats, Graduates! :)

I attended my sister's high school graduation yesterday! Congratulations :D

She won two awards: Loyalty Award (pictured below) and Best in Science. I was the one who put the medal on her. Since I was also our family's photographer that day, I didn't have a proud moment shot! Boo. Would you believe we didn't have a camera on hand? I just used my cellphone instead. Haha!

That's VPS batch 2010-2011 singing their graduation songs. It was hard to take pictures because of all the people staning in the way! Hihi.

Still haven't posted the rest of the photos on my Facebook page because it's not working :(

Good luck, everyone! Wish you all the best :D

What a Bus Ride

I was riding the bus home a while ago after meeting up with my dad and older brother in Robinson's Manila.

The bus was speeding down Zapote Avenue in Las Piñas when suddenly, it hit the .. Crap, I'm not entirely sure what the bus driver hit but it was pretty bad because you could see particles of debris on the road and the crash sound was really loud. BANG! CRASH! Okay, it didn't exactly sound like that of course but it was still pretty messed up.

Naturally, this was going to be a long night for the poor bus driver and the more unfortunate workers who were working on the Maynilad Construction on the road. We passengers went down.

WAITTT! That's not what this post is about. Before the crash happened, I was watching the news on TV about the 3 convicted OFWs who were executed in China. I swear, that story brought tears to my eyes. I could not imagine what the families of these OFWs were going through. GMA's Saksi covered what the OFWs were doing before their execution. Oddly enough, it kind of reminded me of Rizal's final moments before his execution. A few minutes spent with the family, prohibition of contact with the OFWs.. You know.

My heart goes out to the loved ones of the three OFWs. May God be with you during these dark and trying times. May He give you strength and guidance. God bless, One Love.

And just like that, Consummatum Est.
